2. Newsletter subscription data

When you subscribe to the newsletter, we process the information required to administer the subscription. This currently includes your email address, subscription status, confirmation and unsubscribe timestamps, and technical confirmation or unsubscribe tokens.

We use a double opt-in process. The subscription becomes active only after the confirmation step has been completed.

3. Purposes and legal basis

Newsletter data is processed for the purpose of managing subscriptions, documenting consent, delivering turnaround monitoring emails, and processing unsubscribe requests. Where the GDPR applies, newsletter delivery based on consent is generally processed on the basis of Article 6(1)(a) GDPR.

You may withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future by using the unsubscribe link included in each newsletter. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal.

4. Website and server data

When you access the website, the hosting infrastructure may process technical data required to deliver and secure the service, such as IP address, date and time of access, requested resource, browser information, referrer information, and server log data. Such data should be retained only for as long as necessary for operation, security, troubleshooting, and legally required documentation.

Hosting and data processing:
Hosting provider: webgo GmbH, Hamburg, Germany
Server location: Hamburg, Germany
Server-log retention period: up to 7 days
Analytics and cookies: Marketing analytics and cookies are used to analyze website usage and generate user statistics.
CDN, anti-spam, and security services: No additional third-party services are currently used.

5. Email delivery and technical service providers

Service providers may process personal data on our behalf where necessary to host the website, operate the database, or deliver emails. Where required, such providers are engaged under appropriate data-processing arrangements.

Data processors:
Hosting provider: webgo GmbH, Hamburg, Germany
SMTP / email delivery provider: webgo GmbH, Hamburg, Germany
Other processors receiving subscriber data: None. Subscriber data is not shared with additional third-party processors.

6. AI-assisted research

turnarounds.info may use automated systems and artificial intelligence to research, aggregate, summarize, classify, and analyze publicly available information about covered companies. Subscriber email addresses are not required for this corporate research process and should not be included in research prompts or company analyses.

7. Cookies and similar technologies

If turnarounds.info uses cookies, analytics, tracking technologies, or other access to information stored on a user's device beyond what is strictly necessary to provide the service, the relevant information and, where required, consent must be provided before those technologies are used.

Confirm before launch whether the website uses analytics, tracking, non-essential cookies, embedded third-party content, or similar technologies. If none are used, replace this box with a clear statement to that effect.

8. Retention

Active subscription data is retained for as long as necessary to provide the newsletter. After an unsubscribe request, data that is no longer required for newsletter delivery is deleted or restricted, subject to any legitimate need to document consent, withdrawal, suppression from future mailings, or compliance with legal obligations.

9. Recipients and international transfers

Personal data is disclosed only where necessary to operate the service, where required by law, or where another valid legal basis applies. If a service provider processes personal data outside the European Economic Area, turnarounds.info will use an applicable transfer mechanism where required by data-protection law.

10. Your rights

Subject to the applicable legal requirements, you may have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, and objection, as well as the right to withdraw consent at any time. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a competent data-protection supervisory authority.

11. Changes to this Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated when the service, technical infrastructure, or legal requirements change. The date above identifies the current version.
